Overview

Letrix is a word puzzle game. Core gameplay runs entirely on your device. If you choose to join the global leaderboard, some data is stored online as described below.

Data Stored on Your Device

High scores, settings, and your word collection are stored locally on your device using standard app storage. This data is not transmitted anywhere.

Leaderboard (Optional)

If you opt in to the global leaderboard, the following data is stored in Google Firebase:

• Anonymous user ID — a randomly generated identifier created by Firebase Authentication. This is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.
• Display name — a name you choose that appears on the leaderboard.
• Game scores — your score, words cleared, and level for each game you play.

You may optionally link a Google account to back up your leaderboard identity. No additional personal information from your Google account is stored beyond confirming the link.

How Your Data Is Used

Leaderboard data is used solely to display rankings within the app. It is not shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to track you across other apps.

Data Retention

If you do not join the leaderboard, no data leaves your device. Leaderboard data is retained as long as the service is active. If you would like your leaderboard data deleted, contact the email below.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The leaderboard requires no real name or email to participate.
